About The SI Arena
The SI Arena — The Super Intelligence Arena — is a personal engineering blog: long-form write-ups about distributed systems, data infrastructure, and the reasoning behind technical decisions.
The through-line is not "here is the clever solution". It is what the decision cost, what it got wrong, and what you would do differently on the next one. Posts tend to be long because the interesting part is usually the part after the architecture diagram.
What's here
Engineering covers systems design, APIs, and reliability work. Data covers pipelines, storage, and the unglamorous cost of analytics. Field notes are shorter pieces — incident reviews, process arguments, and things learned the expensive way.
Colophon
Built with Astro and Tailwind. Every page is pre-rendered to static HTML at build time, so posts load without waiting on JavaScript and stay readable to anything that isn't running a browser. There is no tracking and no newsletter platform behind the subscribe form — it is a plain email field until a provider is chosen.
Posts live in the repository as markdown. Publishing is a commit. 1post is published so far — the archive has everything, and RSS is the best way to follow along.
